The Invertebrates in Captivity Conference 2000 marked the eighth year of bringing together zoo, aquarium, museum, exhibit design and education professionals and interested general public. Based on input from our professional colleagues, we revamped the program to include three mornings of papers followed by afternoon workshops and field trips. The overnight field trip returned and many full-day field trips were available Thursday. 183 participants joined us for a relaxing, invigorating and educational experience in Rio Rico, Arizona this past August.
