1-5 August 2001

Rio Rico Resort
Rio Rico, Arizona

Hosted by
Sonoran Arthropod Studies Institute

The ninth year of the Invertebrates in Captivity Conference brought together zoo, aquarium, museum, exhibit design, and education professionals, as well as the interested general public. The Conference was attended by 181 participants. Based on input from our professional colleagues, the 2001 Conference turned out to be more exciting than ever!

Again the IICC was held at the Rio Rico Resort, just one hour south of Tucson, Arizona. Mesquite grassland around the hotel and the riparian area just a few miles away provided fascinating invertebrate habitats and offered additional learning opportunities for participants. The Resort's facilities were ideal for the personable and educational camaraderie that the Conference fosters.

A Special Thank You goes out to all our Sponsors for helping to make this year's Conference a great success.
