FIELD TRIP Leaders drive and interpret either full- or half-day field trips around southeastern Arizona. Enthusiasm and familiarity with the area is expected. Lunch, snacks, and water are provided by the Conference. You must be willing to uphold and enforce Conference Policies about participation.

You will be responsible for checking in the participants upon arrival for your field trip, and for supplies issued to you (first aid kits, etc.) If a rental van is required, you will be responsible for cleaning up the trash and equipment from the van. All field trip leaders will be responsible for cleaning out the coolers, checking in the supplies issued to you, and making sure the participants fill out the evaluation forms at the end of the trip.

Basic Registration is reduced 50% for a full-day trip and 25% for a half-day trip. Take the Discount when you initially register for the Conference (beginning April 2008). Limit one registration discount per field trip.*

We will need a photocopy of your current driver's license if your field trip requires a Conference Van and is selected.

*Multiple Leaders must make their own arrangements between each other for equity with the discount. Registration is monitored and excess discounts will be charged to the latest submission.

Make sure your title and description appear EXACTLY as you would like it to be published in the Conference Registration Brochure and Program.

Only the first 100 words will be included in the Conference Registration Brochure and Program.

Is there any special equipment you will need for the field trip? (The Conference may not be able to provide everything that you need.) Participants are responsible for their own collecting equipment and containers.

Conference Policies

*Field trips are for pre-registered participants only, and are intended to be intimate, low environmental impact experiences. Therefore, if non-registered persons attempt to join, including tagging along in their own vehicles, trip leaders will immediately return to the Resort delaying the trip until the situation is resolved.
