General: An uncommon butterfly anywhere north of the Mexican border, the single adult observed during the survey was at flowers of desert broom, Baccharis sarathroides in October.
Flight: spring to fall
Foodplant: possibly Aspicarpa hirtella (Malpighiaceae)
Status: probably just a rare stray
