Bronze Roadside Skipper
Amblyscirtes aenus

General: Similar to the Cassus Roadside Skipper, this species is more bronze than orange. It generally flies at lower elevations. Adults readily visit flowers early in the day then retreat to shade.
Flight: late spring through summer
Foodplant: side oats grama, Bouteloua curtipendula; Johnson grass, Sorghum halepense and others.
Status: resident
