Mexican Yellow
Eurema mexicanum

General: A small, light yellow butterfly with a pointed hindwing, the Mexican Yellow flies rapidly about a foot above the ground. It is often found in groups of ten or more at mud near the State of Texas seep in the late summer or early fall.
Flight: spring to fall
Foodplant: fern acacia, Acacia angustissima
Status: resident
