A number of vendors exhibited their wares throughout the Conference. These exhibitors offered a variety of products and living specimens of interest to the invertebrate specialist. These Conference Sponsors had exhibits in 1999: BioQuip Products, Butterfly Mystique of Miami, Hatari Invertebrates and Mobot, Inc. Additional exhibitors included Companion Habitats, Inc, Dennis Hall, H. Stevan Logsdon, SASI and Wee Beasties.

Click on the photos below for a larger view of some of the exhibits and the people staffing and visiting them.

BioQuip Products has been a Sponsor and Exhibitor at the Conference since its first year. With more than 50 years under their belt, they are the leader in entomological supples. Chris Fall (seated) attended for the first time this year as his parents Richard and Louise had other commitments.
Lesli Seley of Companion Habitats shows photos of their nice line of habitats for arthropods and reptiles to Matt Bielecki and Tracy McGruder, principals of Butterfly Mystique of Miami.
The Conference Registration table was just inside the door of the Exhibit Hall. Thanks to Celia Stuart (left) and Catherine Luminello (right) for staffing Registration. Marcia Ring, Rio Rico Resort's Catering Manager had never experienced a group quite like ours.
Dennis Hall, now retired from the Staten Island Zoo had a number of items coveted by Conference participants. Patty Anderson of Sponsor Spineless Wonders ponders his offerings. Was it one of the Tiffany lamps in too short supply?
Carolyn O'brien of Mobot, Inc. marvels at a mating pair of Hatari Invertebrates grasshoppers. Mobot's joystick operated camera was very popular and is expected to do well at insect zoos around the country.
Betty Hazard shows off one of the most popular shirts by Atlas Screen Printing. SASI is grateful to Atlas for providing shirts on consignment for many years.
Barney Tomberlin of Hatari Invertebrates (left shoulder) has been a Sponsor and Exhibitor since 1993. Amy Dreves and Suzanne Dhruv handle one of Barney's Emperor Scorpions while Cindy Mazer isn't quite sure about it all.
Rubin Portillo of Wee Beasties is also a regular exhibitor at the Conference. Rubin specializes in captive-bred tarantulas and scorpions.
