The Resort is nestled in the Catalina Mountain foothills with spectacular views, an interpretive nature trail, access to the Ventana Canyon trailhead and around the corner from the Sabino Canyon Recreational Area. Traveling to Mexico It is very simple to walk across the border. You can park in Nogales, AZ and just walk across. You can drive across the border. As long as you stay in the State of Sonora all you will need is a valid driver's license and proof of ownership of the vehicle (title), as well as a valid passport. It is also strongly recommended that you purchase Mexican auto tourist insurance. Foreign travelers must present a valid passport, F-1 visa, I-94 and SEVIS I20 WARNING: ITS ILLEGAL TO CARRY FIREARMS OR AMMO INTO MEXICO. Returning to the U.S. U.S. and Canadian citizens ages 16 and older must present documentation that proves both identity and citizenship.
