| Call for Papers Announcement
Each year we send out a postcard announcing that the Call for Papers on line submission is ready. The postcard is sent to about 1000 individuals and organizations throughout the country and abroad. |

This social event is usually held the first evening of the Conference and is a great way for Participants to gather and mingle. Generous appetizers are provided along with a cash bar. |

| Friday Evening Picnic
This event is attended by nearly 90% of Conference participants. A picnic area off-site of the Resort is where a delicious catered dinner will be held. An open beer and wine bar is provided on site for participants with proper ID. Black lights will be set up in the picnic area to attract insects. There are many areas nearby that also offer opportunities for collecting and observing |

| Published Proceedings
Each year the Conference publishes Proceedings of the papers presented at the Conference. These are purchased by the participants but partial or complete underwriting of the printing costs would allow for larger runs and future availability. |

| Advertising for Conference Program and Proceedings
The Invertebrates in Education and Conservation Conference Proceedings are published each year with papers from speakers and workshop leaders. Directories of sponsors, exhibitors and participants are also included. Advertisements are placed in the front. Copies are purchased by both Conference participants and those who did not attend. |
